Most motorcycles(but not all) require the engine to be running to pump/ circulate lubricating oil through the transmission gears, bearings, etc., etc., .etc. I highly doubt that anyone using this tow method would leave their bike idling while the bike is in tow. That said, the complete lack of circulating lubricant is highly likely to result in severe transmission damage/ failure, especially under extended towing distances and/or highway speeds.

Yes, they do work, but please consult your manufacturer about safe trailering methods prior to going mobile.
Notice he's loading a "Hardley". Taking it to the shop to get his, slow, heavy, loud, antiquated, ill-handling 2 cylinder piece of shit repaired.

I used something like this back in 1981, to haul my bike from NC to CA behind my Pinto, worked great except hard to back up with the bike on it.
I think I will get one for those short trips to drop the bike off for maintance when I cannot stay with it.

I would prefer to just ride my motorcycle and not haul it. Just like everyone likes to haul their bikes to trailer week, I mean bike week.
