  • Who are these cats?!!

  • The soul is allowed to delve.

  • Excellent band with many soundzzzz. I have all there music.

  • The piece causes the listener to create visions in he/she's mind. The band's original style of writing has direct contact to the mind and heart of the listener.

  • Great images in the slide show and fabulous song. Jade Warrior yes!!!!! Have some beautiful history with this music. Thank you Thank you for bringing it here!

  • To me, this is a unique kind of beautiful that begs description. Thanks to Steven Hill and Hearts of Space for the program "Floating Worlds", where I first heard this tune and Jade Warrior!

  • Fantastic art work to the Jade Warrior's music off the Floating World album

  • This is one of the most beautiful and haunting pieces of music I know of, and you've matched it with beautiful images. BRAVO!

  • BEATIFUL JADE

  • truly amazing band. Each song is beautiful mental trip. Just peaceful, very few bands surpass J.W

  • @themanlikesmuffins Your words are beautiful man.

  • This is also considered Krautrock Electronic Music

  • the pictures are amazing..........

  • A beautiful coupling of sound and images.

Thank you so much, Archtur, for posting this.

  • I heard Jade Warrior at an english friend´s place first, next day go to a recordshop, buy Floating World and Way of the Sun, go home , record on a cassette, than cruising arround with the car full of friends and have a smoke. It has been a good time that years ! I still have the LPs .

  • Ukiyo- El viaje de regreso a la Memoria

    Viva Jade Warrior !

  • Here is some trivia for you. Did you know the John Fields painted the covers of all the Island recording in Watercolor? He did!

  • I think Jon Field painted some albums covers when they recorded for the Vertigo swirl label, the Island covers were painted by Eckford - Stimpson

  • Kites & Waves also the 1979 release all John Field art

  • Thank sa lot for the hints, I truly appreciate it man. I know "at peace was kind of an ambient cd no special riffs buy it was John's las work I beleive. Maybe just the concept and knowing he was going to leave(sort of a reconciliation with himself) Well IS good to know about Horizen I'll try to look it up . Cheers

  • The last Jade warrior album with tony Dwig and John fieldcd was called "At peace" Done jusf before Jonh's passing on to the other side. If anyone would have an idea of where to find it. ..? I Would certainly treasure listening to that jewell, with great appreciation.

  • I think it is still out-of-print.

LOVING this video! Anything off of Floating Worlds is awesome!!!

At Peace will disappoint you. Tony is barely heard on it. Get Horizen, which was actually a Tony Duhig solo project but ended up with the Jade Warrior name. Jon plays on it and it is as good as the Island recordings. Different though... It is also Out-of-print

  • Very nice. I picked up Jade Warrior's Floating World album (yes, album, I'm kind of old) when it first came out because I liked the cover, and it quickly became one of my favorites. Liked the Japanese prints you have used here.

  • Jade Warrior is truly one of the great bands

of what has become known as the progressive or experimental music of the 1960's and 1970's. Their use of dynamics and melody both subtle and climatic to me still sound fresh and inspirational. Steve Winwood of Traffic took a liking to this band and played moog/piano on the Waves album. Check out the Island anthology: "Elements".

  • Steve is on three of the four I believe

  • Jade Warrior was a very innovative group . . . fantastic. I was captivated by their music from the start, when two friends of mine lent me their albums back in 1981.

  • nicely done. Jade Warrior, a gem that once found is always treasured

  • Very well done! Chapeau!

Love Jade Warriors Music since the 70s and I will always love it!!!!

  • Awesome band, just regret I didn't see them live when I was on the concert and festival circuit in the '70s. They have a new album out shortly, entitled 'NOW', check it out, it promises to be a great recording.

  • like this good job man
