I first heard this song on a compilation album called Pure Genius some years back & I've loved it ever since. Jewel is just perfect. She has a great voice & she has a subtle sexiness (not at all tarty like most female performers these days) which should be enough to give her millions more votes! Why do people listen to (c)rap & manufactured pop when there's artists like her around?

@andrewsaccount09 Yeah, I know, right? "This Way" was released in Nov of 2001, but "Standing Still" didn't chart until the spring of 2002. Also.. 2007 is the year Warner Music Group renewed the rights to distribute this song. Confused yet?
