I was so touched by this incredible and sad documentary. This music in this film is also lovely and haunting. You did a beautiful job, Kurt. Thank you for sharing Andrew's and Zachary's story with us.
I had the good fortune of seeing this when it aired on MSNBC (I believe) and was struck first and foremost by how much pure love went into the documentary, even as it reached the heart-wrenching climax. One of the most beautiful, moving and truly human productions I've ever seen.
Hats off to you, Kurt, for your remarkable filmmaking and the courage it took to tackle what must still be a very sensitive subject for you. I'll never take my loved ones for granted after this.
If you avoid emotional experiences out of the fear that you may be surprised or hurt by them, you'll die never understanding what an experience it is to truly live.
my friend wants me to see this but I am really bad about looking up the ending to movies because I really dont like to be caught off guard or be surprised so I made the mistake of looking up the ending. Fuck me.
Does anyone know how I can get this soundtrack or at least this song!?

If we all had friends like Kurt, we'd all experience a piece of heaven here on Earth.

The music in this movie reminds me of Schindler's List.

I watched this for a second time a week back, and the end still had me in tears. I knew what was going to happen, and it still got to me.

So stop screwing up movies for yourself.

looking up the ending to anything would ruin it - no matter what it is. You need to stop doing that.

Oh well, I heard even if you know the ending, it will still be a good one to view. I know, I need to stop. I think I have a problem.
