@ajay606 The best bang for your buck right now is an i5 2500k paired with a solid MOBO with a Z68 chipset. It is very easy to OC the 2500k to 4.5 Ghz for 24/7 at stable levels. If you must have nvidia look into a 580. Multiple monitors you will want an AMD 7970. If you have any questions shoot me a message.
Thanks for the review guys. Looking forward to more stuff about C.A.R.S. and rFactor 2. Oh, and that FM4 review where you declare FM4 as king of consoles lol. Thanks again guys.
I'm on the beta. It's a very good and original concept, however the gameplay is very bad. I wasn't expecting a sim, but I wanted at least some good arcade, but it's very weird. The car feels completely disconnected from the rest. But that's just my opinion.
I bought a Europe SE and I just cant get it to slide unless I use the handbrake. One would thought 220hp would be enought to burn some rubber in the corners. Guys try out RWD cars and let us know what you think of em.
And i must say: Its definetly an Awesome Sim- Handling!!! Okay, it has some bugs and Issues, but its an early Closed Beta. When ACR is released, the Game rocks rFactor 2 and Forza 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SuperCar Challenge? You gave the physics for that an 8.25/15. You guys said you didn't know how but it managed to be worse than their previous effort, Ferrari Challenge.
I liked project torque as an escape from the seriousness of iracing. I am looking forward to this game as an arcade replacement without getting a consule ESP if they do trip screen.
On the lack of Rf2.. im hoping theyre seeing it as beta (unfinished) so will cover it more when its fully released.. but yeh not much heard about Rf/Rf2 in ages.
this game is ok but really, just getting set up and getting in a race takes forever. the loading times are awful and the website based menu is just a pain IMO. am I the only one who thinks this? I'm also annoyed how much it takes to upgrade and buy cars, it would take a long time to get a supercar and this is just a beta. it also seems it needs to download more files every time I try to race
@Fin4L6are I'm not sure why they feel the need to explore every nook and cranny of Forza4......it should take an experienced gamer/racer less than 10hrs to determine whether a racing game is worth buying.
Is the driving model any good, steering wheel support, online MP, etc....then award a score.
They're costing themselves 1000's of hits with these bizarre delays....all major game reviews should be out within 7-10days of release, really no excuse.
@TheKwod lol.. As we said, we were waiting on the patch.. after that long a wait, we had other things that come first to do. We also like to be thorough unlike the outlets that try to rush a review, 7-10 days after release to draw extra views. We put out previews, first looks and other stuff to tell you what we think..
@simracingtonight I think you underestimate the level of thoroughness that most people would expect of you....I mean, other sites that "rush" these reviews are some of the biggest in the world.
Also, this game ACR seems silly, but as a sim racing site, you don't offer much on rfactor2....
@TheKwod I would rather them take there time and give us a proper review, in my opinion insidesimracing are the best when it comes to sim's and I trust there reviews 100%.
@simracingtonight K, should be a big year!!!!.....however, I sincerely doubt any reasonable person would be in any offended by quicker reviews, just as long as the details of all major aspects are covered, so as I said, wheel support/precision/driving model/ MP quality, and some strong impressions of the career and SP modes.
For example, how long will you/did you drive the FVA Ferrari/s, surely it wasn't months and months worth of laps.....?
I wanna build a pc for gaming and sim racing. i am a exclusively a GT5 driver but i wanna tap into the pc racing scene. I wanna build a pc with an intel cpu and an nvidia graphics card.I wanna do sli as well. I had in mind a 2700k but i hear ivybridge is coming in the second quarter as well as nvidia's 600 sereis of cards. Is it worth waiting you think? 2nd question is what do you guys run and could you recommend some components for myself?
@AJAY606 is it worth waiting....probably, it's almost always the case that the longer you wait, the more value you obtain, but Ibridge isn't expected to be huge upgrade over SB.
Shift2, which was a good looking game, was maxed out on a 6950, so I'd start there.
IMO, the 2 most important aspects to racing sims, is a good wheel and knowing how to drive.
Is this game worth for drifting?

Not convinced as far as "simracing" is about...
Wide Fov that makes me think of the last burnout...
Sure it could be fun, but horribly look like an arcade game...
Wait and see I guess, but ot convinced as far as I'm concerned...
