I've been on the top of many leader boards with the least amount of kills.

I'm normally a kill whore since I don't go for flags all too much but being a good kill whore can make it easier for the rest of your team to win. I mean if you get like 4 AC-130's in one match and you're team wasn't able to make the advance to take a flag during those rains of fire. Then your team is hopeless.

If I am not having fun, I can't be bothered to carry my team all the time.
Oh and actualy the UMP45 does 3 hit kills from close, just like other SMG's. 2 if you hit head. So the funny thing in this game is that gun's damage does matter that much, most guns do that 3-hit kill pattern.

My 80% fix for drop shots or prone campers, throwing knife aim directly at them, seems to work many times for me. I saved many demolition games doing that
Agreed. You cannot approach two different concepts in the same way, you must adapt to the changed environment of the new one. Once you adapt and feel the games mechanisms, you will respond accordingly and succeed.

If someone isn't having fun any longer in a game because it's changed beyond their interest in adapting to, it is time to move on. However, there's something to be said for adapting play style to actually have fun at a game rather than bogging down into some sort of diminishing returns.
I know from a lot of other objective-based competition there will always be people who play for kills (rather like blockers in rugby) and its up to others on the team to go for the goal.
Nice vid :) i used to use the UMP and i still do, it is epic but having said that, i use the P90 now as my main SMG, its a lot more consistent, it has a 50 round mag and it dosent have bad recoil. I'd give it a try :D
