I STILL Play this game, and it's 2012.

I will not get rid of my PS2 just because of this and 3FES.

I love this game so much, I think the reason it's so popular is because most teenagers can relate with the characters.

I think this game truly deserves a 10 out of 10. Apart from being my favorite SMT game, it's actually my favorite VIDEO game! The super realistic characters, awesome setting, addictive gameplay, and incredible soundtrack just totally blew me away.

This game really deserves a 10 out of 10! I love the diolouge and Social Links. And the soundtrack is fenomenal! I find myself accidentaly spending hours on end playing this.

I've never played persona but i really want 2. Im actually young and im wondering if this game deserves the M rating or r they just doing it 4 odd reasons. I also wonder if the game is a "horror genre" like ive heard or if its a JRPG with a twist.

There are mature subjects in the game. ie. alcohol and blood and nudity(kind of)...Search Mara in youtube, and you'll find out why it's Mature rating lol.

its no where near horror. but the reason its rated m is because it has alot of innapropriate dialog and of course someone will likely get shot since guns are available in this one. plus underage drinking. i honestly wouldn't reccomend persona 3 or 4 only because of the ai are pathetic for both party members in p3 and monsters in both games. you should try reading some reviews on gamespot before you go and pick up one of these.

i thought it was ok but definitly not worth more than a 7 at the most rating wise. the va's are terrible the friendship system is a waste of time to unless you want to unlock that arcana's final persona. the ai are incredibly stupid. the plot is full of fail when compared to p3's plot. i have beaten p3 thankyou the bosses can be killed just after 2 hits if you know what your doing so its patheically easy. the only 2 bosses that are hard are the optional reaper and the final boss.

persona is possibly the most repetive game i have ever played but its decent.  i'd like it more though if it had a free range battle system thats turn based instead of jsut taking turns all the time without moving. most of the boss battles are to easy and you don't need a strat if you just level enough. i give it a 8 just cuz its too much dungeon crawling.

Nice review, P4 was what I consider the best PS2 game of '08 & one of the best experiences i've had, i'm interested in trying out Devil Summoner 2 which was released not too long ago earlier this month

I was wondering you opinion on this game for a while now. I do agree, the gameplay is a little better than Persona 3. Being able to control the protagonists friends. I also like how the stategic combat has been stepped up a bit.
