There is a reason this place is packed on Friday nights. Yeah when it is busy the service may not be that great, but the sashimi, rolls, nigiri, everything is amazing at Semo. If you have the patience of a normal mature adult, you can wait a little while for the amazing food at this sushi bar/restaurant. If you are a sake drinker like me, they have an amazing selection of fine sakes to choose from. Anyone who rates this place low is someone who does not understand the finer things in life.
this place sucks!!! not only are they expensive but the food are not good... it might be "bigger" in amount of food but the taste isnt that special.... sushi boat in newark near raleys is way better than this place...
This is great; I live right across the street on Blacow: well, across from Wendy's I live. A really good Sushi place in Fremont, which I find better than this place -- because there is no wait and more spacious -- is Sushi Harbor in the Fremont Hub. (But I only eat California rolls!)

sushi harbor sucks. semo is better! I used to be a regular at Semo sushi until they closed down for a few months to renovate.
now i eat at satomi sushi on thornton and I will never leave!
