chit as you know your life may have changed forever that night, knife baseball bat next to bed if you have to my friend, as for the rest chit we all go through that, your not alone but you need someone or yourself to kick your arse to change your routine, join a club (anything) from shooting range to meditation, you only have to break the ice and the ball rolls, only came to say 'hello how are you' hope alls ok now, you might have sleep panic attacks
Man, with the exceptions of the paranoia, guns, and night terrors, you just described my day. Get up, go to work, come home, sit in front of TV, sleep, repeat. On the weekends, it's the same routine, sans work. To look at my pictures and videos, you can see around 50 lbs. of weight gain over the last year.
as a pro gun guy myself, honestly if your in a situation like this that you rely on it for mental security, you need to rethink if you really need it. That hole could have been in your head. Put it someplace hard to reach and get to but available. the less your in contact with it the less it'll be in your routine.
Yeah, man. Like people have said ... keep that thing away from your bed, and with the magazine separate. In a different drawer, perhaps. If there were an actual intruder, you'd be able to awaken and know where it's at and be able to load it quickly. If it's night terrors, you most likely wouldn't be able to find the different parts, load it, and put a bullet in the chamber. That's dangerous stuff. Glad you're okay, hombre.
While I couldn't understand the magnitude of your paranoia, I do know what it is like to wake up in the middle of the night and feel that every little sound is hostile.
I have been subscribed to you for around five years, it hurts to see you in a place like that man. :/
I just hope that it won't interfere with your life in the future as much as it is today.
@Gormeister If you mean fight back against the people who attack me, they are random strangers, then there is no point. The UK has a very strict self-defence law. If I was to fight back I would more likely get arrested than the person attacking me unless I could prove that it was in JUSTIFIED self-defence. And the level of violence I were to use was proportional to the level of physical danger I faced. But who can keep that in mind when their being strangled by an alpha male socio-path.
We live in strange times. You seem so close to enlightenment. I relate. my latest trilogy of vlogs starting on Mysterey1 channel feels like this.
Thanks,.

I know that it's no comfort when people say it to me but I'll say it to you.
Atleast your not alone. I'm in a similar position just minus the night terrors and the gun. Though living in the UK means I can't own a gun anyway.
Been attacked more than 18 times in my life, physically, not including my school years, it would be much higher then.
And got attacked again recently and am now back on anti-depressants and also beta-blockers to deal with the anxiety and panic-attacks.
So your not alone.
