@arichards518 I probably don't listen to as much Power as you do. I try to listen to so much of each sub genres on the family tree that I just don't focus on one. I'm more exposed Nu, Thrash, and Symphonic than anything. You should recommend me some more stuff! I love new music! =]

This band is amazing. Within Asian metal (cuz I already know a lot of American and Euro metal), I mostly know of Japanese and South Korean metal, so now I'm looking more into Chinese metal, and I think there's some totally kick ass bands.

gonen32, it is unwise to compare Japanese (ROCK) with Chinese (HEAVY METAL). By the way, China only works with North Korea to prevent USA from having an advantage over China in a war.

Nothing is wrong with China's government, their creaming everyone's ass and is bringing China from rubbles and warlords to awesomeness. 30 years ago, these kind of music is untolerable.

By the way, it is Dir en Grey, not Die en grey. And no buddy cares if you think Dir En Grey is awesome.

Im a fan of Japanese power/melodic metal as well as some visual kei. just to back you up Dir en Grey realy does suck lol. A lot. but anyway yeah, stop talking about politics and listen to the music. Before Chinese or American we are all humans, that is what is truly important. Anyway, China is awesome and so is their metal. \m/

but i must to say that the new "nu metal" dir en grey sucks xD that's true. But their visual period was better than now.

(And..if you are a fan of Japanese power/melodic metal, would you like to recomend me some bands *-*?, i really like to listen that type of bands. i only listen visual kei xD)

Sure, i like visual kei too, bands like Versailles, Hizaki Grace Project, and Malice Mizer (when Gackt was around), Moi dix Mois (when Juka was around) are all awesome. As for melodic or power metal, the most well known is Galneryus. There are a lot more cool ones like Ark Storm, Prophesia, and Longinus. But id have to my favorite band is X Japan, check them out if you havent already.

Some other great Japanese power metal bands I would recommend are Knights of Round, Wizard's Hymn, and Area51, the latter two having female vocalists just like this band.

lol i totally agree with all of those. Another absolutely AMAZING japanese melodic metal with female vocals is Alhambra. Its a band formed by Yuki, the keyboardist of Galneryus who is a god.
