working on my laptop does not endanger the life of a child. IE: Same deal as you..person lost control of the tractor..child fell..fortunate away from the direction the tractor was turning..had it been the other...crunch
It would if he were next to it when it blew up! He's safer there than in a car. Statistics are on my side. If you want to shelter your kid from every possible accident then you better leave him in the house. See... it never ends.
I was raised on a farm where common sense and old fashioned values were the name of the game and there is risk involved in everything you do. Get a life! He's my son so I'll decide what is safe and what is not! Now go hug a tree or something!
@2naturesownplace SHUT the hell up. Its pansies like you are the reason kids can't even do the simplest mechanical task, and young MEN don't even know how to change their own damn flat tire, if you want to live a secluded safe sheltered life then by all means you do so, KIds today need to learn about danger and they need to get hurt, and they need to get dirty.
@2naturesownplace How ridiculous! He's probably safer then he would be riding a bike! It's not like his dad had him feeding branches into a woodchipper!
I am thinking of building a 3 point for my 446. I'm currently restoring a 1983 CASE 446. Hope to have it done in a few months. Then I'll get some vids of it to post.
how many case tractors do you have? i like case and john deere tractors. case tractors always seem to be a little less common than most other brands and thats one thing i like about them. that and they are very rugged.
@mjoe7 hey thats good collection. i am not much for IH but i like old case and john deere tractors. i have 2 210 john deere's a 1971 model 70 john deere lawn tractor, and a model l john deere. my dad has the 446 and my great grandpa gave us the case vac and some attachments. i miss driving it around up at the farm but the old farm has long been sold. but we have alot of old hit and miss engines and the case is great for moving them around in the bucket.
Yes I think the old family run farms are quickly becoming a thing of the past. It's a shame really. It taught me to fear God, love family, and to work hard to make an honest living. Maybe someday you'll be-able to get a piece of land for your own to drive around on.
@mjoe7 oh i will get my own spread someday. it is a shame all these old family run farms are becoming a thing of the past. the farm that was my great grandpas he grew up there and spent the rest of his life there. he died there in his house shortly after turning 100. but the farm was too far away to be an option for us right now. its quite a drive from home.
