I HATE this song...(even though I'm a freshman, don't judge my playing ability) we had to sight-read it today and half of my section(clarinet) struggles with their B-flat scale, so just imagine their horror to read this piece. plus, my trumpet section can't even play their instruments right, let alone go at this level. stupid concert band, but really, the way this march's tempo is just threw me off completely. I was expecting this thing to just blow by, but instead the tempo jumps from note2note

@shurikencatapult Lucky you. When I first got a copy of this song, I played alto sax. I switched to tenor several months later and had to sight-read that entire part that day and make as few mistakes as possible.

my school has gotten all 1s in all uil competitions for 3 years in a row and the school has been open for 3 years and we did better sight reading this than they played it
