did you crop this video? I thought the lens had vigenting or whatever you call it...or is it the 500D's sensor that eliminated the corners?

that looks alot sharper than the peleng 8mm you had on the 5D. The peleng on the 5d also makes for lots wider angle.

nope, only 4.5mm will give full circle on a crop body, 8mm gives full circle on FF, 15mm gives 180 degree viewing angle corner to corner on FF

This is a rectilinear or "corrected" fisheye lens so it scretches it out to fill the whole sensor/film.
