Not really. It's all in the song writing. Harvester Of Sorrow is far heavier than most of the shitty metalcore around these days, and it's dropped like 8 stories down a fucking building most of the time.
AJFA. Fade to Black. For Whom The Bell Tolls. Battery.
Their best songs, thought they couldn't get any heavier then I heard this beast... Jeeesus! James Hetfield's voice around the MOP/AJFA era was his best ever-the best metal voice ever. The ultimate metal voice has just been bettered!! :)
awesome... but i still prefer E tuning just because of the a power chord in the intro. but this is badass. this shows all the metallica haters that there music is better than bands like slayer and pantera when tuned down. anyone can tune down to sound heavier but this is a masterpiece.
@kzone15243 pantera play a quarter step down and slayer a half step down. and thats not much. pantera is better than metallica. they had a mor4e skilled singer, guitarist, bass and drums. i like metallica but pantera is better
It's sounds really cool, and it's very heavy sounding. It's really cool. But Jame's voice is a bit extreme haha, But i's all pretty cool, and seems fun to experement around with. I thumbs this vid up. I know the voice sounds crazy, but hey, why the hell not experement by lowering the pitch of the sound? It's fun and sounds realy cool. Haha I like it. Thumbs up.
i agree...its interesting to listen to, but to me it sounds heavier in standard e, because of how tight it is......this tuning just sounds really sloppy
oh i plan on tuning all of them to c...except for st.anger which is in c...i might make those songs d or e. did you check out the 2 new ones i put out?
@masterbassplayer93 ok i do have audacity because i have used it for recording but how can you detune a song without slwoing it down can you please help ?
trust me just for fun i did help by the beatles in c tuning ( i would post it but ya know id probably get people saying how i ruined the beatles) and that sounded evil
he means to switch between tunings at particular parts then upload it
for instance, start in C as it is, then go to D#, and switch to C again when it slows down, and circulate it, its a pretty good idea but it would take a shitload of editing
HOLY SHIT my head just exploded from this epicness

Makes the bass in the song sound even better. Brings the guitar out with a beeper tone and brums have more of a depth. Vocals are dark and justified.
