hey sir, im an avid viewer of tube tutorial vids, but you know, im always having a problem understanding all the stuff the instructors are saying,its like they're just forced to do it, i can't feel even a bit of interest in what you are doing,c'mmon! have some passion, those makes every tutorials void and boring and ununderstandable.

GOod tut .. When and IF you have time could you do tutorials using the tutorials that are in Maya - So be in Maya then go up to Help click on it and then go down to tutorials and then click on Getting Started with Maya - this would be so helpful to me and other students that are being taught using maya tutorials but there are no videos its reading so we need visuals .. lol . @ramicky16 As you posted a little while ago this may not be relevant but have just started in Maya after a decent background in Max. Do find some of it a bit funny. But handy that the main important tools (Move/Rotate/scale) are the same shortcut keys. Some tools better some not so. Somebody on 3D Palace posted a handy list of a few of the tool names of how they match up between the two. Hence wedge in Maya is Hinge from edge in max etc. But should be easier if you are familiar with another app.

The tutorial wouldn't be bad, but you have a habit of just babbling for no real reason, and it tends to be really confusing and cause the videos to not really accomplish much. I've been working with Blender for a long time, finally got Maya, and really didn't learn a whole lot from your videos, because you spent the whole time saying the same thing, just wording it differently each time. Good tutorial video, just cut back on the useless talking a bit, it's confusing and agitating.

Hey, so u know maya. there is only one thing to solve that problem. that is go to display, UI elements, and animation timeline. hope that helps u. if u have other problems, let me know and i learned maya for almost 8 months so dont worry ive been there.

I dont think he is talking about the resolution of maya (i doubt that is editable). I think he means the resolution of your monitor. For most (windows) computers, just right click on your desktop, go to graphics properties, and find the resolution so it is lower.

by running that at the resolution you mention, do you mean that your desktop video setup is running at that resolution?

The ViewCube? In the settings for maya, there should be a tab called "View Cube" or something similar.
