@takato132 it is the Wonderswan Color, a handheld system by Bandai released only in Asia, in this games Ryo still didn't knew Monodramon, he met him around the 4th game of this saga since Ryo's adventure is divided in 4 games

Can you explain how this battle system works? I just started playing but it's so confusing to me. T_T

it is easy actually, when is your turn you first move your digimon across the battlefield to get near the enemy digimon, you can't use normal attacks if you are away from the enemy digimon but for that you have the variable moves, take this ones as special attacks since they use a sort of mp or like it is called in the game vp or variable points, but this variable moves come in the form of digivolutions as you can see on the video here, when you're infront of the enemy then you can attack
