Ok Todd Eng, you've got it right except for one thing. Clean your grill with a wire brush AFTER you've finished grilling - not before. When you clean it right after you take the food off, the grill and the food particles will be hot, so using the wire brush will be much easier and more effective. good tip .since the gas grills no longer have lava rocks it isn't the same so may as well go the extra mile and go to chacoal which was the best anyway

I would think the nasty smell of burning lighter fluid would be much more offensive than the natural wood smoke smell of my lump. I honestly see no reason why anyone would need lighter fluid.
