  • LMFAO! even though i live in america.. FUCK AMERICAN! .. for real.. who eever that bitch is need to realize that the Korean economy is become even better than american economy.. also greener.. + american justice system is fucking up..

  • I always thought taeyang's name was pronounced like Tae-'young'. So am I completely wrong with that?

  • Comment removed

  • @caterpower It's pronounced as "TAE YAHNG". In Korean, his name is spelled as 태양 and the 야 part makes the "YA" sound. So instead of pronouncing it as "TAE YAENG", pronounce it as "TAE YAHNG".

  • very awkward at the end LOL

  • I am American and I am moving to Korea in 4 days and it represents a new beginning for me. I have watched YG and Youngbae from afar for a long time and I appreciate all you have done for them. Not only have you polished their performances but you have made an obvious impact in their personal lives. Make no mistake, you are reaching people (even though I am rather late as I am watching this in 2012). Life is truly a movement. Move to live! Hwaiting!

  • I love u Shaun!

  • @killer475 in your country perhaps.

  • Most Americans tend to forget that they're not the only people in existence.

  • @HonestHeartsClub Agreed

  • SHAUN YOU ARE FUCKING AWESOME!!! love, someone from canada :)

  • From 8:55 up to 9:43 I'm just staring to Kim Ji Hye. :)

And her giggle at 9:19 is so sexy! :)

  • Philippines represent! Pinoy ka talaga Shaun! Keep it up!

  • im a shaun evaristo fan now. :)

  • I love Tae Yan's music and choreographies and now i know you create it is just awesome! i admire you guys (shaun, mari and keone)

    from México

  • I hate the statement that People say Korean Music or the hard work they put in it doesn't have a weight. Maybe American Music is more common and popular but Time changes and thanks to YT I got to Know something different. It reaches millions and inspires others. Because of YG I took interest in Korean Culture and Know I Study Korean and will live there later. And I am from Germany ;) so it does have a weight.

  • Shaun your statement 7:00 was very powerful and you are a true professional. I love the fact that you are a hard worker and still so calm. (and yet motivate others with humor). 100 millions of kpop fans will now understand what you and these crew had to go through to perfect this performance. You are a true artist and professional. Much respect to you and your crew.

  • dear shaun, i'm american and i LOVE your work. you inspire me :)

  • luckily for me, I found a fillipino taeyang who looks just like him and I couldnt be happier

  • I'm really into k-pop. I'm from Boston MA (USA) and I know plenty of people who are also into it. I'm not Korean nor do I understand it but it's more of the feeling, joy, and passion. Music is my life I listen to it everyday. It's really bugs me that some people don't open there minds to different types of music and cultures. I completely understand were Shaun is coming from.

  • @mari31310 Im british and i couldnt agree more!

  • does taeyang understand what he's saying? the english i mean.

  • @SuperSkyheart2 yes, mostly

  • you reached the Middle East :P

i'm from Saudi Arabia and i'm supporting you guys <3

you did a great job (Y)

  • you reached this american <3

    love and support from America

  • wow. i'm starting to love you guys!

SO that's why YG artists are soooooo amazing performers!! :D

  • I'm sure the person who made those ignorant comments about this not "holding weight" in America is eating their words! Keep your words sweet cause you may have to eat them one day lol

  • lol tae yang looks confused when they talk english to him

  • @mayseekhang94 naa, he's nervous because he doesn't like cameras, but it goes away once he starts dancing.

  • I want you to know that I live in America and I have major respect for people like you. Because what others here don't understand is that choreo is an extremely major part in the k-pop industry. Live performances and MVs not only revolve around good vocals in k-pop...it's the presentation. So thank you so much for the effort you did in helping Taeyang out and bringing his confidence. He wouldn't be successful without you. And as a long time YG supporter and fan, I thank you and your friends!

  • Awkward at the end

  • wow . . . very candid interview from Shaun.... great job and thanks for the honesty.

  • U guys do reach millions! Dont listen to people who put u down! :D

  • Even France is all crazy about Kpop, come on Shaun you're a forerunner (don't know if its the right word ) because YG is going to be the next king of the music industry they are just so talented, and you're already a part of it!

  • shaun is genious

  • have you seen the view counts of YG artists on youtube? their videos are watched by tens of millions of people. no offense but america =/= the entire world. kpop is insanely huge all over the world and 2ne1 and Big Bang are two of kpop's biggest groups. those people don't know what they are talking about. anyone would kill to be able to work for YG and it is you that they should be envious of.

  • you ARE reaching millions. really.

  • lol at Shaun pretending to be gd

  • two thumbs up for Shaun..:)

  • what Shaun said in this video already made me a fan !

I just couldnt agree more !

  • The choreo that you guys come up with is sooo awesome and you convey such a positive energy as you're teaching . Don't listen to all those haters. There are more Americans who are into K-pop than you can imagine and the number is still growing. Thanks so much for uploading.

  • is there a download for the I Need A Girl instrumental from the beginning of the video ?

  • What an ignorant comment that person made. They obviously dont know anything about kpop. What u do does hold weight in the US. There are a ton of kpop fans here. Thank u for entertaining us.

  • who are the kwon twins??

  • why did Shaun turn off the music at 2.13?

  • @purplemayu accidentally pressed it probably.

  • @chr0nix123 Haha I see... Hmm but knida weird isn't it, cos the editor of this video noted us that Shaun was gonna turn off the music and I can see that Taeyang wasn't too happy after that. Probably shocked, rather than angry :)

  • Many people at my school love the choreography that shaun makes for taeyangs songs and even attempt to mimic it for school projects or just for fun, although they overlook the hard work you guys put into these beautiful pieces of art and creativity, i just wanted to let you guys know that many americans do love and enjoy your work! so keep at it!(= i love how much you guys interact with other nations, esp korea !<3

  • @mzannie cool! i wish i had this in HS... so much fun

  • Shaun is inspiring me to break out of my shell and pursue my love for dance :).

  • I forgot which song it is @06:31!! Can anybody tell me plzz :)?

  • @MakeableDESIGNS superstar by Taeyang :)

  • @MakeableDESIGNS just a feeling - taeyang? m not sure

  • @aznluuuv Thank you! :)

  • oh goodness! so shaun choreographed 'I Need A Girl' as well. i love the mv of that song. it was dope.

  • WOW your work is amazing, Shaun!! Best luck for your career! I love how sincere you are in what you're doing.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG.

  • Yes shawn. the part where you said about adapting is the key to success or something. I totally agree to that. If you can be comfortable with your surroundings, nothing will go right for you.

  • Shaun is such a cool guy

    love what he says

  • What you do is reaching ....even this Puerto Rican American! Keep goin' strong!

  • you reached me and i live in europe, america

the person who said that doesn't know how big kpop is :)))

  • @carcotasa sorry...i live in romania

  • Keep it up shaun! You're DEFINATELY influencing people all over the world! I'm all the way australia and I can tell you, you guys have made a big impact on dance, if not in all of australia, then atleast on me. Movement Lifestyle ftw!

  • Hehehe. Taeyang had to translate! ^___^

  • kpop is an amazing world, they're bringing to stage real ARTISTS who with brilliant talent and who cultivated that talent beyond! In Kpop, one of the bestest is Tae Yang if not the BEST, and you, being one of his mentors... that's something those Americans can't fathom!YOU ARE GREAT SHAUN!

  • Pfff, america, dude your choreography has even reach us in NORWAY! Up in tha north~~

  • Do your thing Shaun! Your my hero!! I don't mean that In a gay way or anything..! Lol

What your doin just inspires me....!!! Let haters be hateful... Leave em be...^^ Youre the best!!

  • the guy wearing black shirt (with purple skull) at 00:35 is it Don ??

and the guy on the left wearing white shirt at 03:38 is it Deuk ??

    ohhh Kwon twinssss~

  • lol when you guys were stuck on how to say a cheer XD

  • don't worry about, your choreography has reached me, all the way back in North America.

  • YEAAAAH GO SHAUN!! IT definitely reaches the world!! Love from LONDON

  • Shaun U are reaching people all over the WORLD!!! including America. It bothers me also when people think that good things are only in America, good things are all over the world. U're doing such an amazing job and an amazing talent u have. I'm happy that u've reach out to Asia b/c I know u can proves those who don't think it's a Big Deal working with Artists oversea. Your idea is always fresh and I know u have not just offered your dancing skill, it is much more than that. Thanks!

  • just wondering, does taeyang understand english? cause i see shaun talking to him and he seems to know what he's saying.

  • @shineelzx I think he understand English and fairly good, just his pronounciation that needs more work on. However, I don't think his English is Great, still have a lot to learn. That's b/c they don't speak it everyday over there. But, S7even is pretty good, I'm getting that feel from him when he speaks. I could be wrong b/c I don't know them personally, just what I'm seeing on screens.

  • IT DEFINITELY HOLDS WEIGHT!!!!!

kpop reaches millions across the world and your choreography has reached us here in England......and its deffo appreciated!!

  • I applaud you. Yes, take pride in your work cause it's true- millions of people appreciate it~(You). btw I'm from Canada.

Woah! GD, yes gonna watch the next episode.

  • i'm surprised that there's no translator besides taeyang himself. and uh.. i also beg to differ. kpop and asian artists are taking over the music industry. it won't be long 'til asians break through and become part of mainstream music here in the US. people can be so ignorant.

  • It's reaching us her e in SINGAPORE~!! ^_^

  • At least asian medias don't turn little 7 year olds into perverts

  • i think ur work is excellent! i love ur choreographs so much that i want to be dancer too!

  • i think ur work is excellent! i love ur choreographs!

  • It holds so much weight don't worry!

  • Shaun is a weird mix between Bj Penn and Shia Laboeuf ! But still I love their work at ML ! They're bringing the experience and that unique touch that only they have .

  • PSH. DOESN'T HAVE WEIGHT HERE IN AMERICA? someone is obviously not comfortable outside their own little bubble....

  • That guy looks like Soo Hyun 0:25 O_O

  • i likehow shaun acted as GD..

  • 1st person i spot.. YOUNGDON!

  • I must say that what you're doing does reach us in the U.S. I see your hard work and dedication and that has given me motivation to work harder towards my dancing. You inspire millions of dancers and people in general all over the world and don't let anyone make you think otherwise. Thank you sir.

  • dont hold weight in america??, tell em to stfu haha

mad kpop lovers in usa, mostly asian tho, but dey just hating.

i agree the moves r a lil different in a way but both have their goods

  • There are lots of Kpop lovers in U.S! Don't be discouraged! I LOVE your choregraphy for Big Bang and Taeyang. It does have weight. :)

  • Have he ever lost his voice before ?

  • i remember the interview of MNET with BB a few days ago. they said that in YB"s profile it was only stated that he is a singer, now they can add it up with 'translator' ~ just kidding. :) anyway, i salute Shaun Evaristo for making this awesome dance steps for Taeyang's album, they are truly amazing. such works of art. :)

    TAEYANG FIGHTING! MovementLifestyle FIGHTING!

  • I believe America is behind. I'm from the US and I can tell you that we are behind in not only technology, but also entertainment and fashion. I have to say that we are pretty arrogant. We think that everything revolves around us or how we are the greatest...not true. A professional is someone who finds success in showing his art to his audience, but the size of the audience is irrelevant. A million or a billion people, what matters most is how many people's lives you impact.

  • I like how Shaun thinks. The way he explained that beef about his work not getting creds in the US.. respect and inspiration right there.

  • one of the people who disliked it was probably the one shaun was talkin bout at 6:58 hahaha...once again, INSPIRED

  • Shaun you are a very humble and intelligent person.just the way you said those things will make people think about the choices they made in their lives.plus we don't know those people..we know YOU and the choreography you made for YG artists.just think of how many say Taeyang fans watched his concert and videos where he danced your steps.and that is just taeyang!

  • ahhahaha Bae's expression at 2:13 !! XD

  • @thatsinistersmile yeah its really funny, hes like what the...??

  • Whoever said that really doesn't know how big kpop is all over asia. The Korean wave is getting bigger bigger and more and more people around the world know about kpop and are loving it. So what ML is doing in South Korea is just as big as anywhere else. Especially since ML is working with YG since YG artist are a lot more like the American artist so a lot of people in America like their music.

  • actually he's impacting Asia, and asia (china alone actually) is bigger than the US LOL.

and moreover, i dont think its true that he isn't impacting the US becuase im in the US and it influences me >.>

  • the world is huge. whoever said it must be pretty arrogant. The world does not only evolve around in America. If it doesn't fly that much in US, so what. It's their lost for not seeing the talent. In fact, over the last decade, Kpop music industry has doubled or almost tripled in popularity all over Asia and some parts of western. The Kpop industry really made great for choice for hiring talented choreographers like u and just look at POPULARITY of it now.

  • no wonder the choreo for Kpop MV's were so good..... US music entertainment should learn from this and hire these talented choreographers for their enterprise.

  • I don't think people from ML understand how big K-Pop is....

Shaun you are reaching people all over asia and i know that there are many kpop lovers in north america.

just let them talk and do your thing :)

  • one more thing lol ♥THE KWON TWIN ♥

  • im pretty sure you reached American million already ^_^

did you guy choreograph 2ne1 "go away" ?!!

if you guy did that shit was epic!! love it! haven't seen anything like it!

i never fall in love with a dance before lol it ever get old

  • YG entertainment is on a whole other level then other Korean entertainment

Most kpop artist act cute and innocent and their choreograph suck

i have to admit most Asian artist like over sea lack a lot when it come to dancing and choreographing:/

BUT YG they have groove, swag , edge, modern & catchy move

i think that why they are more appealing to American fan,

not just American, people all over the world

shaun and your crew is helping them to a whole new level wit your dances

    & WE THANK YOU!

  • you've reached all kpop lovers in america, so the person who told you that you werent affecting anyone can SUCK IT.

  • hmm. i wonder who choreographed "wedding dress"?

  • @Sprite2220

    of course

No other than Shaun Evaristo ^^

  • @payzani o.o

    holy -!

    genius.

    it's all i can say

  • Im glad Shaun is giving him the confidence he needs. Bae is really shy in a lot of aspects. He may not appear that way in videos and the stage but he is.

  • shaun's choreo is really good. aren't there awards for this kind of thing?

  • Comment removed

  • I am a Texas soccer mom and I LOVE Taeyang and BB and Se7en and 2NE1 and a bunch of other kpop artists :D You're right on Shaun!

  • reaching people's soul in so many countries is more important than reaching few people in your own country. Evaristo is a wise, nobel and modest person. I am really happy that I got to watch such an excellent artist like him.

  • No matter what negative stuff ppl might say to ya, it's true you reaches out to millions of ppl and mostly asian specially fans of Taeyang. WIthout you Shaun, there wldn't be amazing dance choroegraphy for Taeyang so FEEL PROUD cos we fans really thank you for helping our idol (^,^)

  • thank-you so so so so sooo much!! XD

  • @6:16 Superstar is the best song in that album. i love it!

  • Taeyang understands english :) awwwwww!

  • @queenpoots562 He can speak English, as a matter of fact.

  • @aznbgirl06 okay I didn't mean it in a negative way. I was just a little surprised. Anyways, he still DOPE!

  • @queenpoots562 LOL, omg, did my comment sound like I was pissed? Sorry about that. Just sayin'. xD

  • How can i get the James Han remix of I need a girl?

  • u guys r so lucky how did u get to work with bigbang?!

  • Whoops double post, anyway a lot of Taeyang's idols are Western singers. He sings R&B for god sakes (as opposed to typical kpop), of course he wants to make it in the US.

  • Wooooo YB, Asian Usher cmon and rock the US.

  • that's right shaun u ARE AWESOME..doing what you do best

  • Comment removed

  • Taeyang translating~ <3

  • shaun is soooo adorable!

  • Tae yang seems like such a chill guy. I'd want to hang with him. His real life character is different than his on stage character. if you know what i mean.

ANd Shaun you are definitely impacting lives here in the states. There are millions of kpop lovers here in the U.S. and this is an amazing experience to have, knowing that YOUR choreography is affecting an entire country's culture.

  • shaun evaristo u r impacting lives in america...

not everyone starts big. we all have to start small and go big and what u are doing is going to get you there. We love what you are doing and your dances..

You are very talented and to get this opportunity to show the world what u have. That one person is jealous to put u down to make him feel better..

    don't worry u got it.

  • k pop has global audience now days it does hold weight in my opinion lol

  • I love how their hands went down at the Taeyang fighting part. xD so cute. american and korea mixes together.

  • hahah -I know this feeling *It's just a feeling* god! bad joke xD

oh, and about that of working in asia and not in america: i know i'm latin and maybe i don't understand, but why is everyone so.. obsessed with succesing in america when korea has such a great music industry? I know america's is bigger and all that, but korea's has amazing quality, and i'm in love with korean music even though it's not promoted in my country and i don't understand korean. i would prefer being big in korea..

  • @laurargentina The US is one of the biggest consumer markets in the world (especially for entertainment media), so it's very important financially. Korea is a small country with a limited market. Even compared to countries with much bigger populations, you will see more sales in the US because Americans spend a lot more.

Also the US is a culture capital. I mean where do you think kpop came from? Hip hop, pop, r&b, rap, rock, and just about every other music mainstream genres originated in the US

  • @zippo718 i get it now, it's true you get more money if you're big in america, though i still stand for what i said :) just one thing.. why did you tell me that of those genres being originated in the us? of course i know that! i don't understand how it's related with what i said, i didn't say they weren't

  • I can't wait for Kpop to make it big in the states. I've been watching and i know, one day its going to make it big & all your hard work is going to pay off! keep doing what your doing because your amazing at it :)

  • All I can say is, TALENTED ARTists. Creative! I love this!! Shaun is amazing!

  • im pretty sure that there are MILLIONS here in the US that also listen to KPOP and also are influenced by things over seas. :D WE LOVE TAEYANG!!!

  • what is the song at the beginning of your video?

  • Love it !! ♥

I didn't know that Taeyang understanding english x)

    haha love it !

  • Shaun, I just wanted to say that, although I never really thought about the choreographers behind the scene, since I learned about you and taeyang, I give props to you in my head and I tell everyone I know about you. You outshine yourself everyday and this is evident whenever you hear someone say "Taeyang dance skills have gotten better," your choreography and training has sharpened his skills as well...AMAZINGLY FANTASTIC JOB!!!!

  • would love to be the one hugging taeyang when they gathered around lol.

Shaun, you have a good heart and your intentions are great. keep teaching because MILLIONS of people know what you do! :)

    your choreography is amazing!!

  • I wish Shaun E was my dancing teacher.

  • you guys are awesome, your work has definitely reached all around the world through these artists! Whenever I watch Taeyang the way he dances + your choreography inspire me. GOOD JOB SHAUN!

    - all the way from Australia

  • Uhhh,... Does anyone else here think Qui is freakin adorable??? lol We need more AMBW relationships in the US hehehe ; P <3

  • Shaun is so right about the music reaching millions. America isn't the beat-all end-all country. People are people and he totally has the right outlook on life. So much respect for Shaun

  • ohh G-D "see that"

  • this documentary is genius! =D

  • *your way of thinking..

  • Keep it up Shaun! and I like the way of thinking especially when you said that K-Pop (or international music in general) is reaching a millions. I mean music is music nonetheless.

  • GOOD JOBS YOU KOREAN GUYS AND GIRLS!! WORK IT OUT BEST WISHES TO ALL!LOVE YOU!

  • dude, i loved 7:20 when u said that.

It's so crazy how u got to work with these kpop stars.

    :]

  • <3 ML!!!!! Shaun!!! daebak

  • reached me in AMERICA!!! i have so much respect and love for MOVEMENTLIFESTYLE! i youtube every performance you guys created for taeyang and can't help but love everything you guys do!! keep it up and have fun and know that you guys inspire people like me everyday all over the world!!!!!

  • Shaun and everyone else at Movement Lifestyle, you guys and gals are amazing. and you're right, you are reaching millions. they might not be all from america but actually it doesn't matter because you're reaching millions from around the world, which is even better. And hey, I'm one of those millions of people and I just happen to be from the US :) so keep doing what you guys are doing!

  • I'm an African American and I love everything Shaun and Taeyang have done, are doing, and will do in the future. Taeyang & Shaun fighting!

  • you're right in saying that it does reach us here in america. and i remember tae's comeback. it was one of his best, so whatever you did you did it right.

i'm so sick of this stigma i keep coming across in the four years i've been into kpop. that just because its from a foreign place makes it less in some way. uhm. no. music is music no matter where it comes from. just like dance is dance and love is love. enough hate people. enough.

  • You hold enormous weight here in America and everywhere else . It's not just Korea. What you're doing doesn't hold weight in the face of ignorance. You're internationally involved now, that'll never go away; I'd say that holds much more value than being solely involved in the U.S.

  • imagine that, it reached me, a DETROIT ROCK CITY girl!! forget the haters Shaun.

  • REACHED ME. An American. Thanks Shaun. You're truly an inspiration. God bless.

  • oh i saw kwon YD!!! xDD

Kwon Twins have a huge fans too.. ah btw happy birthday yesterday.... ^^/

they're confident on stage, they're crazeeeeh.. xD hahaha

    i hope they're become a YG trainee.. :((

  • What your doing is simply amazing and there are millions of kpop lovers in Singapore even though theres only about 4 million of us here. xD So please continue what you do ur reaching out to so many people and...just hwaiting! =)
