This couple were discovered by a local tv stations helicopter crew. The crew reported it and the police helicopter changed course and went to pick up the proper rescue gear but shortly after they left the scene they water rose rapidly and the couple who had been standing in the bed of their pickup had to move to the top of the cab and was barely holding on so they rescue crew had no choice but to do it without the proper gear and those two people are very grateful to the crew.

Obesity is at pandemic stages in America. Fat assess need to get on treadmill and join the Y to shed that blubber. The lazy tub of lards are driving the cost of health insurance up. Illegal immigrants don't drive up medical costs, fat lazy McDonald scarfin pigs do!

hmm noones maken fyun of it? i guess i will :] it was good that they are safe... but the rescueer (outside plane) is an idiot! (his last name is actually poindexter) but why wouldnt he make her sit in the first place no grab and hold her by the leg! and i saw this live yesterday... but you cut it out... they guy was a ehavyset guy and his pants fell down and his butt was saying hello to the world the entire time it was hilarious :]

you are extremely retarded... y dont u try to hover a helicopter 10 inches above water while the other guy is trying to secure a woman (who by the way is probably really exhausted). IT AINT THAT EASY PoInDeXtEr!!!!!!!!

Everyone applauds these guys, but this was done in such a irresponible manner. Secure the victims. Having seventy year olds dangling from the skids and falling might not be the best procedure. Not to mention the 5,000 pound cuisinart a foot above the water. Anybody own a boat in OK?
