  • "Bloomin... bloomin' like a red rose!"

  • u cannot dislike sunshine daydreaming

  • MY FIRST BLACK LAB WAS NAMED SUNSHINE DAYDREAM AND NOW SHE IS WITH GERRY. BUT I HAVE ANOTHER NAMED THE SAME AND THEY BOTH ARE WITH HER ( SUNSHINE AND GERRY) ITS LIKE PEES AND CARROTS ALL OVER AGAIN!

  • wow this is the first time ive noticed a marshall on stage... was that bobs or jerrys rig... maybe a backup?

  • @gonephishin77 it may have been another performer's amp because it wasn't a Grateful Dead concert, per se it was some foundation concert

  • @gonephishin77 this was a free memorial concert in golden gate park for Bill Graham , melissa Gold and Steve Kahn, who had died the week before in a helicopter crash. amongst the many other performers that day were CSNY, Santana, John Fogerty , and journey. so I think they just brought a wide assortment of amps and left them on stage all day so there wouldn't be long changes between sets. also the dead backed up Fogerty for his set and Neil young sat in with them.

  • Take a joyful trip... See my Random Hallucinations video..Peace

  • R.I.P. Uncle Bobo

  • I have gone to so many gigs in Golden Gate Park; I would trade all of them for a single Garcia with the Dead show.

  • Wow beginning is a train wreck! Love bob jumping to the mic as he forgot to come in in time. Or the video is out of sync. As usual they lock in and its magic after that.

Why are they on such a high stage?

  • I remember that show. We drove up and sleped on the curb the night before. then wandered into the park in the early AM hours. I'd seen them just a few days before in Oakland, drove home to SLO, then turned around and drove back up for this show. Wow. That's old school.

  • There are a lot of Dead Heads where I live... They are mostly Junkies... I do Love the music.. But I see all these kids who look up to Jerry.. Junkies Do NOT make good role models..

  • @younwhosarmy He may have been a junkie but people look up to him because of the talent and musical ability he had, not because of the drugs.

  • @massacre450 Not all people. I know people that started doing drugs because they thought they were cool because Jerry and others did them. And some of them are not with us anymore. They thought because he created good music that it was good to do those drugs as well. GD was an still is a very powerful thing and can influence people to do things they know isn't a good idea. Like dropping out of life and following them to every show. Very addicting for sure.

  • and this is why I don't watch shows that are after 1990 cuz they SUCKED after that

  • Nice way to finish what started a week earlier. :)

  • Sunshine daydream,

    walking in the tall trees,

    going where the wind goes

    Blooming- like a red rose,

    Now come on over sweetly,

    Ride out singin',

"I got you in the morning sunshine."

Linda Marie - we miss you!

  • going where the wind goes...

  • call my sweat gal sunshine day dream

  • of course... the grateful dead, and the dead after Jerry, is always the consumate shizznat!!!!

  • @chooey3 debatable. If u nvr saw the GD, Garcia was spark & soul, Boddhisattva. The band intrinsic to the magic. Tour was a sacrifice made for us. Love the motivation for band/heads alike. In lifetimes, rare to see consciousness such as Garcia's (to guide us , blessed beyond all). Many didn't see. I did, miracles experienced left no doubt. He was the root, his huge Love the reason. Reaching higher heights, Loved as we saw the huge bliss of shows came from within. He set the angel in us free.

  • that really grooves.

  • I always love those sly, admiring grins Jerry would give Bob when he started getting really animated. He truly loved the man like his goofy little brother. Thanks to whomever posted this gem!
