  • gibberish

  • America, is a continent, it's not correct to apply it to USA only

  • what a ridiculous asshole. wtf? lol

  • @bille77 he's in history books and your not. ha, ha.

  • US public education system is one of the worst in the world. Only US History. There isn't world history, like other countries.

  • It is NOT the worst in the world. That is a huge overstatement. It isn't the best but it's technically number 7 among the world powers, which is no good but hardly the worst. American students are taught world history in at least 2 out of four high school years and more is taught in primary and middle school education. I don't know where you get your facts. However I love the Nina Simone in your favorites, she has the voice of an angel.

  • what this guy says from 0:12-0:30 might be THE most idiotic statement I have EVER heard

  • that is until I heard "maybe donald judd is the first true american artist" ??????? How could someone so stupid....I'm, I'm just speechless.

  • If that's what you think of the statement made in the video, rethink whether you know anything about art at all. Guess you completely missed the point. Ever been to Marfa?

  • which statement? I left two comments. "rethink" ? trust me, I understand! I just don't agree. I know exactly what he meant, and its idiotic. What is not to understand? It's completely subjective. Saying I need to "rethink" shows how limited you are. I mean, that is even more idiotic than Judd being the "first true american artist" haha what a joke. No, I have not been to Marfa.

  • Well, there you go. How can you debate Judd's work if you haven't been to Marfa? What the guy is saying is that Judd's work is art in its purest form, liberated from distracting metaphors allowing to focus entirely on the intrinsic beauty and esthetics of the objects he created. You may not like his work (which is a matter of taste which cannot be debated) but that does not mean that his art has not had a major influence on American Art.

  • North American Art.

North America is the United States.

South America is part of America.

The American continent was discovered by America Vespucio.

  • get in touch with reality, my friend.

  • can't wait to go to marfa
