Dwayne is a great guy with good character. He shares his experiences all the time and I cannot thank him enough for what he's done to make this an issue, support other wrongly convicted men such as Darryl Hunt and Greg Taylor, and again for speaking out. It's great that he is free, but unfortunately he had to be in prison for 18 years to make people turn their heads and start to truly believe in innocent prisoners.
I got a friend who is in prison for a crime he did not commit, what is wrong with our justice system?
I will check out Cheri Dale, I am so sorry to hear that happened to your sister, dont ever give up, did you try to get a hold of the innocence project? maby they can help you...
Unfortunately, the IP in our area may be too closely knit to the alma matter of the Western School of Law and certain judges and prosecutors. There was an item in Cheri's case that should have been DNA tested, but police misrepresented it at trial. We contacted the IP and they studied Cheri's case for a year. We offered to pay for the DNA test. They refused with no explaination.
Wow. Welcome home Dwayne. Hope I can say that to my sister Cheri Dale some day. She is currently serving 26 to life for a brutal murder she had nothing to do with. So I and my family have much in common with yours. Type Cheri Dale here on Youtube to check out her case if you like. Be well.
