  • How fucking drunk were you writing the titles?

  • Are they singing,

And who's coming home on the old ninety five?

Who's got the feeling to keep him alive,

Though havin' it, sharin' it ain't quite the same

It ain't no gold nugget, you can't lay a claim (?)

  • @61dodgelancer Close "You paint a gold nugget and you can't lay a claim." That Neil.

  • @peterzang Thanks peterzang for the correct lyrics. Now that you've told me the line, I can hear him sing it. I'm a long time Buffalo Springfield fan from way back in the 60's. I'd love to learn how to strum this on my guitar and sing it.

  • @61dodgelancer My pleasure. If you type in 'Clancy' and write Tab, you can get the chords. Pretty simple. Neil uses a lot of maj7th chords. So it's probably in Cmaj7 to Fmaj 7th and then probably Am to Em. But you can figure it out if play a little guitar.

  • @peterzang Thanks again Peter. Hope you enjoyed a Happy Halloween!

  • @61dodgelancer My pleasure. And yes I did. I've been a fan of Neil's since 1967. And Steve Stills is so underrated, due to a drop off after 72. But his boxset next year will surely set that record straight!

  • @peterzang I just watched a Neil Young special on Dish Network this past week. I hope you caught it. I have a neighbor friend who plays guitar and sings well. He's a big fan of Neil's too. Terry plays and sings "Old Man" and "Heart of Gold" really well. I love "Harvest Moon".
