Worst ride ever for me and kids..hahaha my nephews convinced us to go on but didn't tell us about the "slower" one. We got sick BIG TIME. I think I may have blacked out for a second also. We ended up going back to hotel and sleeping off the motion sickness for 3 hours. UGH!!

they choose you based on what order you walk in and what number you stand on in the preshow room. each number (1-4) is assigned to a different position

orange team has spinning to simulate gravity and acceleration, while green team just has mild rocking. If you have some sort of motion sickness go for green team

no offence but i am 13 now and when i first went on this ride i was 9. i went on orange team 8 times in a row. but now it takes like 2 hours to get on the dam thing because of the stupid green team. no offence but i think u should just grow a pair and go on orange team but that's just a 13 yr old's oppinion.

nope. the green team goes from side to side and slightly up and down. on orange team (the more intense version of the two) spins fastly.

i'll be honest, but i despise the green version of Mission: Space, it's takes the thrill away from the original, just like how the SNES version of Mortal Kombat was watered down while the genesis version had the content that made MK controversial (provided that the ABACABB code gets used)

yeah, well they made it as a safety precaution for the people that need to read the safety signs that don't take the 30 seconds it takes to read signs

although i hate to criticize the guests harshly, the only way the german lady could've prevented her death in M:S is if she were to get a map in german which has the warnings in that language.

i didn't know that part about the accident. but the other person's accident might have been a result (at least partially) of not reading the signs.

if by other person, you mean the 4 year old boy's death. it was revealed that he had a congenital heart defect, which the parents were not aware of, which leads to the second thing about intense thrill rides: if you go to a theme park which you know has intense attractions, it doesn't hurt to get a medical check up and if you feel something's not right, it's best to check with a specialist (i.e. cardiologists) if anything doesn't feel right.

indeed. all it takes is a little bit of common sense in order to save a major theme park the major headaches that a lawsuit over a preventable death could cause. and like i mentioned, if you feel that a ride is too intense, just don't go. it's your choice (because it's not like disney's making guests sign waivers for their rides just like they do with both the Indiana Jones show or something such as DiveQuest)

No, it doesn't. At 2:09 to 2:14 in the video you can see the type of movements that the simulator does on Green Team.

there are 2. green team and orange team. orange team is the more intense ride due to the spinning of the "x-2 trainers". green team doesn't spin and just moves front, back and side to side like an average simulator. originally the entire ride was "orange team" but after 2 deaths to the medical conditions of the riders, disney added "green team" to give people a more gentle alternative to avoid that from happening again.

yeah. i think the reason they picked him for the capcom role is because he was in the movie "mission mars". Also, the spinning wheel in thw first room is based off part of the ship in that movie.
