The elasmobranchs are seasoned survival veterans, with a record that makes humans look like overnight upstarts. I'm of the opinion that they will outlive humans as a whole(many species are beyond reach), but I can't abide senseless slaughter.

If only people that fear and loathe sharks understood that they stand a better (unfortunately) chance of dying or being wounded from an accident in their home, car wreck, insect bite (allergic reaction), lightning strike than a shark attack

Yes, that's very true. I say we go after the illegal fishers and chuck those stink bombs on their boats. It makes the meat so putrid smelling NO ONE will eat it. The smell runs throughout the ship for a ALONG TIME and you can smell it for a few miles at sea, I'm told. I want to whip a few of those babies at the shark killers and hopefully hit them in the ass when I do.

I don't know exactly how I feel about the fact that you catch sharks at all, but I do know that I REALLY appreciate it when people see a problem that conflicts with their life, and they make a decision that's bigger than themselves, with regard for the greater good. Thanks for letting them go. If others would only make smart decisions in attempt at helping the bigger picture. It's about personal responsibility, even when no one else is looking. Thanks again.
