@ChrissieBana Silver Space sounds good to me too! Stevie has painted and done other art works since she was just a girl. I really wish she would release at least one more solo album. I have read that she is working with former Eurythmic Dave Stewart. If she is, the songs should be really good. Jimmy Iovine (now a huge music mogul) was her best producer. He helped define her signature solo sound. Lindsey is right there near the top as well. Sheryl Crow also did a great job producing for Stevie.
Stevie was a real bitch in this interview. Way too dramatic over the Siver Springs incident. Stevie said she was furious over Silver Springs being left off Rumous. She blamed Mick & Lindsey. Yet Stevie still went on to have an affair with Mick in 1978 & still pines over Lindsey to this day. It made far more sense for Silver Springs to be on a Mac box set then on Stevie's Best Of solo compilation. Oh, & Stevie's mom is not in need of $ from Silver Springs. Momma Nicks is more than OK moneywise.
@bassretro1993 Yes, Stevie was the song's sole composer (and it is a true classic in Stevie's impressive song cataglouge). I don't know much about publishing, etc., but I do believe the publishing rights to Silver Springs are owned by Stevie's publishing label - Welsh Witch Music. I believe she also receives songwriting royalties to this, and all of her other self-composed & released songs. As the song was recorded by FM, I think everyone had to sign off on its release. I may be wrong.

After watching this I see why I've loved Stevie for so long, she is so much like me i must see a cooler version of myself in her! Her music has got me thru hard times when I was younger and she writes what she lives and I've lived what she writes! Which is why she considers herself a teacher! (Which I am as well) !

You realise how much you don't want to fuck with Stevie when you watch this interview! She's brilliant, I love how honest she is about everything. Extremely talented woman.

Although, during this time, FM ruined her life for 15 years, where as for the past 15 years, FM were 'wonderful' to her.... blame it on the drugs
