Due to your comment, I watch this again with an open mind. But dayum did I just almost throw up in my mouth.  Ass Kissing!!!! They have now even changed the films name to "Precious". Whateves...

Yes, the name change is for legal reasons, as there was already another film out with the title, "Push". It stars Dakota Fleming. Precious, is the name of the main character in the Mo'Nique "Push", so it makes sense as well as avoiding any legal BS and hassles. Go see "Notorious". I hear that at some showings, there was gunplay among the audience. No ass kissing there to turn your stomach....just more Black on Black crime and stupidity. Whateva floats yo' boat.

I know all about why they changed the name but it was a bit late I think. Kinda weird to go to Sundance with one name and then change it. I am referring to this clip of them on stage when I speak of the sickening "ass kissing". It's a bit much. "Notorious" that's the "Biggie" film riiiight. I'll check that out in the privacy of my own home soon. You should check out "Bustin' Loose" it won't cause chunks to fly.

I can't wait either! All I hear is Mo'nique stole everybody's thunder and I'm pretty sure she's gonna get a well-deserved Oscar nomination, if not the award. As an ages long Mariah fan I can only say that I'm so glad Mariah is in this wonderful film and that she held her own! Go Lambs!
