@Only1StevePerry your an idiot. bird couldntjump, ill give you that, but he had possibly the highest bball IQ of any player , he is one of the best shooters to ever play, he was an excellent dribbler, especiallly for a 6'6''-6'8''forward. He has the highest APG of any forward to ever play, and he filled box scores like no other. doc was great, but he wasted away his career in the ABA, a league that didnt play defense , had shitty floors ( probably the reason he wore away in the nba)

Doc torched Larry and the Celtics for 45 points, so take that. Doc is also a one-on-one god, playing against the Rucker legends. So, it would not be a cakewalk for Larry. Doc has a good J from 10-15 feet and we know what he can do on the drive. Bird plays tough D but can't guard J's drive. He can though force J to shoot outside his comfort zone. Bird can take Doc inside and use the hooks and can shoot outside as we all know. But J can guard Bird better than the other way around. It's a tossup.

Uh, no. Bird torched Dr. J before. In fact, that's why they fought. Larry had about 42 points and Julius only had about 6 and Bird rubbed it in his face. I know that wasn't 1 on 1 but you're talking about Bird here. Even the haters (that know the game) rank him in the Top 5 (all-time), while Dr. J is more like Top 10-20. Don't get me wrong, the Dr. is awesome, but not like Larry.
