Maximum force, speed, power, conviction, brutality and aggression is someone is threatening your personal safety. Jesus, I can't stand that people are led to believe this will actually work on the streets, actually even upsets me.

The point about the atmosphere in the class is very true. I tried a couple of other martial arts before kok sool won, and while I liked them, what put me off was the general strict, serious, atmosphere. I also went along to my local jujitsu club a few times, but the sessions just seamed like an hour of the top guys showing off to the girls (who were hot)...while probably kok sool won't make me as tough in the same amount of time as jujitsu would've, I feel much better in this particular club
