Yeah a couple of the cops were a bit foreful but overall that looked pretty well handled. Civil disobedience is supposed to be nonviolent, it's designed to get media attention not to be hostile or confrontational to officers.

You do realize that the only people there were police and tourists? Congress honestly doesn't care and your protest will make no difference. Think about this, hundreds of thousands of people showed up for the immigration protests last year and they haven't done anything about that issue.
