Heard that Sam became a storefront preacher down in Louisiana in his later years after stints working on oil rigs. Quite a change for a guy that had the top selling single ( Wooly Bully) of 1965. These guys are rock n' roll icons.

Did this song in a band in the late 80s that had some good players. The guitar part done right kills em every time. Haunted House was one of my favorite song on the set list.

@doolwil6 i have a smilar story and close in age as well except my father owned a 70s radio hits cd and this was on it and i got to thinking about around a week back and my memmory is well acually funny thing is its pretty well gone thats a longer story though anywho he tried to help me and couldnt remember much himself but finally here iam
