@Burtonianz use a fleet enima, i had to use one once a couple years back, i hadnt had a bowel movement more more then a week, but it cleared everything out in about 15 min, and it wasnt pain full at all
fiber does feel like eating cardboard. I'm eating this oatmeal honey nut cereal with milk right now that's said to be a good source in fiber. This cereal I'm eating is so hard to chew that i get tired chewing

Actually fiber actually can prevent calorie absorption. It disrupts micelle formation which allows fat to cross the brush border of the small intestines. Therefore excreting more fats and preventing absorption.

What is true, is that fiber ITSELF cannot be used as calories by our body because our digestive tract lacks the enzymes to process it.

The US dietary guidelines recommend 20-35 g of fiber/day....not at least 35!
And there is no evidence that increasing soluble fibe will decrease kilocalorie absorption
