  • soooo emotional dope

  • Funny thing, after I pressed play and the music started, I got all cold.

  • @bluekitteneyes I felt it too

  • nice video and a great band!

  • Lost in a dream.

    Everything in black and white.

    Dark.

    And light.

  • haha it's 240p. Which makes it awesome.

  • Cool video. Can you put a higher res version up? Love Bohren. Even better live.

  • @SittingNow I think the video is even better when it's low-res

  • ....wonderful & mellow.......love it!

  • This is a really nice video. Seriously

  • In which album is this song?

  • @cocozaococozao123 This track is from the album Black Earth.

  • @ShaneDignan Thank you.

  • Amazing

  • the best shit I have heard since long ago.

and he said - one more whiskey, please...

  • Anyone knows other bands similar to "bohren & der club of gore" and "the kilimanjaro darkjazz ensemble"?

  • @EliasGYBE The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation

  • @EliasGYBE Dale Cooper Quartet and The Dictaphones

  • @AlexCorrino Hahahahaha

  • @EliasGYBE Kayo Dot's "Dowsing Anemone with Copper Tongue" is kind of jazzy, but its definitely more droney rather than ambient. their album "Choirs of the Eye" is kind of the same concept but with more of a complex classical composition rather than jazz based. Both are worth checking out but I wouldn't say they're 'easily accessible', gotta listen to em a bit before it starts to sink in.

  • @mobman47 I know man! Kayo Dot and of course Maudlin Of The Well... Incredible bands!

  • wykop!

  • класс!

  • what genre is this?

  • @xkhuongdox darkjazz.

  • @xkhuongdox ambient and jazz mixed

  • @xkhuongdox

    Doom Jazz

  • @Merzbowxnoise oh ok

  • jedesmal wenn ich mit dem song anfang könnt ich ihn ewig hören.... constant repeat 6th... und immer weiter!! king regards

  • Love the combination of music/video! Can really feel the loneliness and there`s no destination or purpose,- just the ride! Lovely!

  • I need cigarettes

  • very creepy

this songs fits to its title

the dilemma of having fear all the time

    you can live with it

but it goes on and on and on never ending

  • fantastic track and the video fits perfectly. thumbs up Yellowpaper :)

  • This is perfect in a cold, rainy night in bed with the girlfriend...

  • this with rain on my window , a cup of black coffee and loads of ciggarettes... nothing more nothing less

  • @FreedomRuns i do the exact same thing. this is so gorgeous. it goes perfectly with black coffee and newports!

  • Cthulhu soundtrack

  • These guys are great. Reminds me of Twin Peaks.

  • I love this band to death and ALL of their songs,but...constant fear just does it to me everytime.

  • try playing it at the same time with Tim Heckers song Music for Tundra. Happen kind of by accident, but I like how it adds another layer.

  • This is one of the tracks I listen to while reading Lovecraft

  • excellent!!!

  • great tune! lovely saxophone

  • Amazing noir style. love it

    thx for upload

  • astonishing track, good vid to amplify it's feel

  • The background keyboard sounds like Burzums "Rundgang Um Die Transzendentale Säule Der Singularität"

  • I found this video, stoned, at 3am the other night and flipped out over how brilliant it is. Now, I come back completely sober a few days later, and I still think it's fucking brilliant! Congratulations, man! You're a total artist.

  • Love this band; love this video :)

  • Well done!

  • on which lp is this? plz help. thanks!

  • @mcbofrost

    Black Earth

  • Will someone for the love of god make a Film Noir film with their music.

    THANK YOU!

  • @9threalm i already have :P

  • @PoisonCyannis Link plz

  • @9threalm isnt on youtube but i used the song midnight walker :)

  • "Knew I shouldn'ta trusted that dame. The moment those legs walked into my office, I knew they'd be nothing but trouble. Guess I got a weakness for cute little things with tears in their eyes. And look where it got me: trapped in a place nobody's ever meant to be. Thought I felt something on my shoulder. Feels wet, rubbery like squid. Head's spinning; can't find the floor. If I get out of this, I'm swearing off sushi for good."

  • @MisterApathy haha! love it.

  • "So there she was. Just standin' in my office. I was workin' on my next big case. She was beautiful.'

  • @longlivetheloud2

A familiar line, what movie? Couldn't find with google.

  • @Nobodaddy83

Haha, honestly, I just thought of a generic film noir line...you know, 1930's detective in his office, reflecting on things. Lol. That's what their music reminds me of.

  • I finally got this CD in the mail yesterday. It's everything I could have hoped for. The whole album is essentially a mirror put in front of your face that reminds you just how horrible an existence we all lead.

  • I have to say, its really interesting how here is comments about remindings, visions about something through this song, but yet I don't understand this kind of music. I've been "in my yard" in black metal, but this is much more... Should I say mature, sophisticated. I would like some recommendations on more "Silent Hillish"-music like this, because I don't really know what to look for.

  • Earth, The Killimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble, The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation

  • @macrockin

You're looking too far into it. It's minimalism. It's art. It's a jam. It isn't trying to "say" anything, there's no hidden message. Just close your eyes and listen. Just absorb the rhythm. Feel the blues running through you. Allow the music to take control. You might see something. You might not see anything. Everybody will experience this music differently and that's the point. It's modern music - it's more of a drug than a statement. It's made to be experienced, not read.

  • FEMME FATALE!

  • I really liked the band, I mean.

  • I discovery the music by "accident". A Great Accident, lol

  • but a great song.

  • This song reminds me the 'dead' town where i was born... and those nights... :|

  • @tusssid i remember those days well, me and you used to play hop skotch with a hotch potch of blotch medicine, remember when you told that bus driver you could fly, and he told you his wife sucked off truck drivers when he was at work? great memories, thanks for all the fun.

  • do you know any other bands playing similar styl?

  • @jfeuiebf earth and twin peaks soundtrack

  • @jfeuiebf Povarovo , Dale Cooper And The Dictaphones

  • And then I've entereth the Gate of Perfection, and there was "Constant Fear" beyond it.

  • This song is very Silent Hill-eque. I can picture the protagonist walking through the town while this was playing in the background.

  • @lonelysith66

    Agreed completely.

  • Love this band, love this song, and the video is really, very nice. Good job.

  • This reminds me of " Twin Peaks " & " Silent Hill ". Awesome song and vid. Big Up!

  • This is just gorgeous....I can't help but picture myself on a bus in the rain when I hear them...It's very rarely that any music gives me those sorts of images, if any at all....And that's saying something, since I listen to all kinds of music.

  • excellent song ... excellent video..... greetings

  • Song makes me think I'm in a David Lynch movie.

  • I love this piece of music.

  • this is fuckin awesome!

cant even put it into words....

    thx for this upload!

  • Working ones way through the maze of garbage on YouTube at times feels like a pointless exercise, until you discover gems like these that is. Thanks!

  • szia esztike :)

  • nice vid.

  • So I searched for "Melancholic Bands" on net, and came accross a few forums. And by chance in the 100's of options I picked this as my sorta, last resort I hate heavy metal / death rock bands being placed into that genre attempt.

And wahey! At least with this song It was worth the 30 min search.

    If I could, 5*.

  • ♥

  • I believe this is the band I've been searching for my whole life, funny I should find it the moment I decided to write a detective story. Amazing stuff!

  • @Gravewight Yes! It totally has that film noir feeling huh? I love this band!
