The amount of indians in Soth America, Central America and even in the USA don´t compare with the amount of indians in the whole Caribbean at the moment of the conquer. So, we, here in Puerto Rico have almost nothing of the taino race. Don´t dream.
1:23 dont know why you show this image. Correa is a fucking racist, called socialist and pro-indigenous in the exterior but he is killing and discriminating ecuadors people - KICHWA, CAÑARI, PURUWA, etc.. We dont want this Eurocentric hipocrite anymore
@Sayritupaq I made this video over a year ago. However, I appreciate you bringing up the reality of what's taking place. The larger point of "whomever" I featured in the video was simply to touch on the Indigenous blood that runs through so-called Latin Americans, in whatever degree.
Clearly by your talk your ancestors... they had to cross not a river from the other side of mexico but the ocean from the old world. and if you're also oppressed raise your voice 2. but don't stay in silence and expect my NATION to do the same.
I am, and the comments section of this video isn't the place nor space to run down the details of my personal life and experiences, to a complete stranger. As it is not my intention to "convince". I am simply dialoguing based on the comment you left. My people are as well, which is more than clear to see.
And white people kill me when they start using that "we are all immigrants to this land" rhetoric. We are Indigenous to this land because we were here about 30 thousand years before white people even existed (and that's not a 'racist' statement, it's truth. A scientist from Penn State found this and it was even on CNN in 2005. The gene responsible for "white" features is a mutation that occurred a little over 6,000 years ago.
"and if you're also oppressed raise your voice 2. but don't stay in silence and expect my NATION to do the same.
"FREEDOM OF SPEECH" RIGHT? "
Indeed...freedom of speech. However, how are you sure I'm not excercising my right and my voice? Do you know me, or of me? Are you familiar with my work in the community and abroad?
thereelstory (3 weeks ago) Show Hide He said we oppressed... HE DON'T BUY IT!!!! My comment was for him. we are on the same side. LOL! I'm indian you sound like an indian! "thereelstory" don't. He sound more like European HATER!!! NOTHING WRONG WITH EUROPEANS... EVERYTHING WRONG WITH HATERS!! for they hate the truth!! and that's exactly what you spoke my brother... THE TRUTH!! THANKS FOR THIS RICH IN KNOWLEDGE VIDEO. OUR PEOPLE NEED IT. W/B/S
are you saying your oppressed? good coverage at g20, but just like you said "divide and conquer", what do you think this message puts out? in todays day and age youre no more oppressed than anyone else, sorry i dont buy it.
Yes, I am. And my people, across the board, as a generality, are still oppressed. I am not asserting that "we" are the only oppressed people in the world. However, in regards to Abya Yala (North and South America) we are the Original people.
And looking at the state of the majority of our people, who are largely poor and marginalized, in their own land, it is quite clear of the oppression via instituionalized racism, neo-liberal capitalism, etc. You don't have to buy it. Because I'm not selling it. It is what it is.
