My 18' with this motor will just nudge 60 with a 21"SSProp.Blew it a few yrs ago, (father in law was running 30wt non detergent in it), had it rebuilt, thenlower unit seal went out and froze it up. got lucky and found a much newer unit, put in on myself and now everything runs great.
Sounds awsome! My dad had an evinrude 150 on his 86 i belive dyno-trac boat. I never saw cause he sold it before I was born but, I seen pics, that engine was a beast on that thing!
I got a carbed 97 johnson oceanrunner 150 on a 21 cuddy top speed of 53mph gps.stock 19 prop. This engine just makes me snicker to myself seeing those 4 jokes and car engines lagging behind me.
