Have not been to Moscow for some time, But I remember lots of food stalls selling all sorts of stuff in the black markets and in the alexandrovski sad.
well parsley has a weird spicy taste, culantro (called cilantro in a weird land to the north of the american cont inent) has a celery kind of taste, but a lot softer and slightly different. that looks quite good.
@Supertomiman Thanks for explanation! Yeah, I know the taste is different, it's just they both look alike. The one they used in Russia at this place was cilantro, I was sure only after having it :-)
Thanks for uploading :) Very interesting to see! I am very interested in the Russian culture, lanugage, history, and the food culture. I would love to travel to different places in Russia, and see how you live.
Umm i got a question if its russian how come the pepsi and the drinks all are in english or because thats its name for every language since it came from english?
@shadowmancerdude in fact those kind of blini are not traditional - tradirional are fluffy still thin but not that thin, these are cheap fast food, not good , the batter for these is like flour and water, homemade are mostly made with milk or clabber. and yeah no need traslating coca-cola or pepsi - people saw it so many times and heard too, so we got used and there was(unluckily it even stays) a tendency to use more of english words like sandwich (though have the word of our own for that)
@shadowmancerdude I dont think brand names can be translated into any language. PEPSI is still PEPSI in all languages. Besides, I don't believe PEPSI is a word by itself, its a brand name, not an English word.

How is it different from a crepe?
trent8002003 10 months ago
@trent8002003 the difference is that with blini they use yeast while the normal french crepe would be made from wheat flour or buckwheat.
CutieHoney13 1 week ago
@CutieHoney13 I see. Thanks. How does yeast make blini taste different from crepes then.
trent8002003 1 week ago
@trent8002003 From my crepe tasting experiences, they are pretty much the same but the consistency and thickness of the batter are a bit different :)
CutieHoney13 1 week ago
Thanks for the video. My mom made blini my whole life and I just realized I need to make them!!

chibomato78 1 year ago
@chibomato78 funny a blini is very famously not as thick and spongy as pancakes.
