  • omg that's so terrible. All those people who helped clean up the wtc are sick :(

  • @Buntzums It real, many people are now sick that helped out. The sad part is the GOV new this would happen. They only tell us what they want us to know.

  • Great video, one correction, though, it's W.R. Grace (not W.C. Grace). Evil company no matter what you call it.

  • homes is nothing ..they have found these fibers in tree bark all over the mountainside's...in the grass ect....

  • I snapped a bit of asbestos (no bigger than my hand) in my garden and now i am so fricking paranoid :(

  • marko this is 60 min material thank you for your work

  • Is there anything in this world that cant kill you?

  • You can buy this stuff at home depot. You should use it to grow mushrooms.

  • The Vermiculite you buy today in any store is good, safe, and does not have asbestos.

My video refers to the W C Grace mine that is now closed in Montana in the town of Libby roughly 25 to 50 years ago. Did you know that 50 % of the people in the town are dead or have lung cancer? Roughly, 33 million homes still have this stuff. It cost 10-30K to remove.

SO GO AHEAD TO HOME DEPOT AND BUY YOUR STUFF.

  • @Clevelandmarko do you jack off to vermiculite?

  • @Clevelandmarko I wouldn't be so sure. EPA did tests on vermiculite being sold these days and some of it did contain high levels of asbestos. Remember, asbestos is STILL LEGAL in the U.S. It's in a great many products that you can buy off the shelf even today such as wall spackeling, joint compounds, duct tape, mastics, caulks, blown insulation, kid toys etc. I even bought a light fixture just yesterday I suspect has an pad of asbestos in it. There is no labeling requirement on any of these

  • marko is a homo. WR Grase are polluting backhanding assholes. They got off because of the government allowed them to. Bullshit I thimk. But hey that is our fucked up government. Bush had his hand in that decision. We are all fucked

  • @supercrocodileman you might be right about the Bush part. Wrong abut the homo part.

  • where do i send sample to test

  • @weedeaterbike The Vermiculite you buy today in any store is good, safe, and does not have asbestos.

  • i work in a greenhouse thats uses vermiculite for their potting mixes and stuff. should i be concerned? like atleast wear a mask while working with it?

  • @trampbiker

I'm a manufacturer of Vermiculite and Perlite. You are fine! All manufacturing facilities have been tested by the EPA and only the ones that dealt heavenly with the Libby mine over 20 years ago had any concern. Current regulations keep our Vermiculite pure and the risk is very small. I say very small because you can never be sure of anything. If there was cause for concern, trust me, our employees would be out the door, myself included. We are subjected to way more than anyoneelse

  • @Lost18888 Thank your for your post. This man is correct..

  • This is scary! We have a home built in 1975, My father reassures me our house has NO asbestos but I'm still not satisfied, we have this stuff up in our attic called blown insilation, it's gray and in puffy looking material.

  • @Sheri451

Vermiculite is brown in color. You could always take a sample out and send it out to a chemist and have it tested.

  • Marko sleeps in a hazmat suit.

  • IN THE USA. You talk as if the USA is the world..

  • Well said bro, any type of asbestos is bad for ones health, weather grey, white or blue asbestos. the one you refer to is blue asbestos this stuff is leathal just one fiber gets stuck in your lungs you are a walking dead person. 911 44 ppls have died from asbestosis, media down plays this as a rare lung diesese, Rare my arse, why not ask paul newman about this he worked as a young man in a ship bld yard late 1940. What did he die of (asbestosis) apprentlly, a rare lung diesese...

  • Would have been nice to know a few years ago.....when we remodeled. This stuff fell out of the walls all over the place and even fell down into the basement where the heater is. We shoveled it up and vaccuumed the rest. wonder if we'll be lucky. The house was built in 1926.

  • great points Marko, now i want to see whats up in my attic. (need my 1 pc suit and mask on a calm day. A~
