If that were true, then Bach and Mozart would be vastly superior to the bands you named; and yet I get the impression that you listen to them intead of Bach and Mozart. I am laughing at all the people who think this is a ripoff of Buckcherry....this song was written 30 years before Lit Up. Now, Lit Up is a great song on its own, but don't think somehow Ace jumped in a time machine to 1999 and stole Lit Up then cruised back to 1978 and wrote Shock Me.

In regards to people ripping Ace's guitar playing...the guy toured the world many times over, banged more chicks than you have probably jerked off to, and was part of one of the best rock bands of all time.

Man... Kiss sure could use Ace and Peter back. Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer are very talented people, and in my opinion, Eric is a slightly better/ more reliable drummer than Peter. But where Peter and Ace have them beat is creativity. It seems that Gene Simmons only really likes Eric and Tommy because he can boss them around, and they probably have little if any creative input

Ace was asked to leave the band, he left. Ace was asked to rejoin the band, he rejoined. Ace then left the band again for a solo career, it was his decision to go and Tommy replaced him, in my opinion Tommy's a much better guitarist, and has a better personality as well.
