When do you think the DVD will be availablle? I`d really like to buy a copy. I followed the link to your website and all I saw was a sign up for your mailing list.
@David43515 Thanks for the question:: The people on the mailing list are the ones who get notified. It's far easier and it goes to the interested that way.
@paintballinkaliguy Glad to hear you are pursuing both. I am in South East Asia. This DVD set is not finished. I do, however, train people in seminars, private instruction, etc.
inoagkois: When you actually do research you will learn that European handguards were not used in the Orient. Your lack of knowledge coupled with your fanboy approach to the samurai doesn't equate to credibility. Your understanding of cultures is equally wrong. Did you ever take Cultural Anthropology? Get an education in the field.
@19bobbyjones19 What you are asking about is best handled through private instruction. If you are serious about learning the information can be yours.
@selfhelpguy If you are ever in Thailand we can see how real swords (blunts) and daggers play out against your misconstrued faulty felt marker analogy
@selfhelpguy Have you ever used a nearly four foot sword and a two foot dagger at the same time? Your felt marker idea is not isomorphic. It won't work any more than NASA simulations being held in a closet would.
Lodi you're totally right on that score my freind. I love and respect the Bushido way of the samurai; but I still say that the samurai would obliterate the knights, vikings and Celts because of "superior" art is a hyped up myth. Great warriors were and are great warriors.
Western methods have been overlooked or underappreciated for way too long. Christophe is a methodical teacher who leaves no stone unturned; I've learned alot from his materials to date and we've yet to meet in person.
