Oh how I remember the Continental of 1959. Yes, I started in El Paso, Tx as Passenger Service Agent. Then Transfered to Tulsa, Ok. We delivered great GOLD CARPET SERVICE.

A lot of dedicated Continental Airline employees got screwed by the Hostile Takeover by Frank Lorenzo of Texas Air.

The company was bought with Junk Bonds and our HDQ was moved from Los Angeles to Houston, this also with the help of former Criminal & Mayor of Los Angeles, the Late Tom Bradley.

There on pretty much every 900er (i think as of now theres only about 4 give or take without the directv) one 800 is in the shop for it right now. More than likely the sequence will go: all the 900ers, the 800s from ship 507-517 that did not have any IFE installed upon delivery, the other 117 800s and 900s, then the 700s and 753's. For the 180 seats, ship 013 (b772) is in HKG getting the retrofit right now as we speak
