We Need A Public Option Plan!

Canada for example it takes 8-12hours of waiting until you see a nurse, then takes another day to see your doctor. Thats socialized health care.
You must not be familiar with the exchange. The exchange will ensure that that is simply not true. I would rather be inconvenienced by a wait that is a little longer knowing that 60 people a day will live as a result. I actually am quite familiar with Canada and their wait times are pretty much the same as ours are. A woman in NY actually died in the ER after waiting for more than 24 hours and even then they just walked around her.
I plan to eat healthy and exercise, so actually going to the hospital doesn't cross my mind much.
What bug ME, is the trillions it will cost for the U.S tax payers.

Private insurance companies will go under. Its very simple. When you have the government with a cheaper health care plan, then private insurance will lose its customers. aka public option.
Because of the exchange they will be able to compete. They just won't be able to fuck people over anymore. We can afford it by spending money will aleady spend more wisely. The fact is we have poorer service already than most countries who are industrialized have. We are number 37.
They will have to lower their prices or increase their benefits. They could do that and remain in business. I am not really worried about them though... I mean seriously who gives a shit. Its not affordable to give poor people insurance.
