This tune was my first experience of Axelrod. I remember the moment. Browsing through Herbie Hancock CDs at my local record store, and this tune comes on. After 60 seconds I find myself asking the guy at the counter what was playing. Axelrod he says. I spend another 10 minutes in the store. I go up to pay for 'Man Child' by Hancock. I also ask for a copy of the Axelrod CD. It's the last one I'm told, but I buy it anyway. Not looked back since. That was about 12 years ago.
