the navy 5" guns WERE flak, get close enough to enemy planes and you'll see the flak explosion.

I mean like 88's and that flak that spreads into alot of small booms.Oh and the 20mm Flakvierling 38(That with 4 barrels)

Because they have 30mm Ground AAA which was more common than the flak 88 and vierling which both weren't ever modified to be on a Carrier.

Yeah, when your in the hanger, go to "field gun" or something along those lines and your manning a 30mm AAA cannon.

Most air fields didn't have flak...It was usually set up along coast lines and HIGHLY important/known bombing targets...

yeah, but I have a book: "B-17 Groups" and whenever there are American Bombers bombing German factories,railyards etc there is always ALOT of Flak.

mostly in the big refinaries i.e. an Oil Refinary which AHII does mod. in for those but airfields for germany were seen as a dime a dozen, they had their 30mm gunners which were exceptionally good, most of the flak was concentrated on the coast, but there was some near refinaries.
