i still feel so sad, i love motorsport 20 yrs,i actually seen barry,i was with my brother,1995 adelaide f1.sat night hyatt hotel lobby,i seen ron dennis in a bar,and as i hope to see more f1 stars her to my shock was this guy on the lounge with 2 -3 nice girls having a laught,it was barry sheen, i smiled ,i know he liked the ladies,but yrs later dying of cancer,man i mad,life is cruel at times famous or not

they had to cut him out of his race leathers

(I remember pictures in a bike-magazine where he had those leathers up on his living room wall)

Barry Sheene, what a bloke! didn't every young man want to be him....good looking, women loved him, confident, personable, exciting and dangerouse. All round hero and one of the best sportsmen Britain has ever produced.

Wasn't actually the engine that seized, apparently the rear tire grew (expanded)so much that it jammed in between the swing arm locking the back wheel.

Barry Sheen was a PROPER BLOKE! Superb rider & champion, chaser of women, great character. Like James Hunt, he was definitely a 70's man! No wonder the Aussies were mad about Bazza! RIP champ- sadly missed.
