@berger553 In true Rock style, the singer got addicted to drugs, got an ego and left the band in 2006. As of 2011, The Darkness has reunited to do a set of gigs on the UK festival circuit and there's talk of writing a new album.

Truely, no one cares if you have to play this and you think it's boring. Don't come to a video that promotes the band and bitch about how you don't like them. It's pointless.

Granted I was a little needlessly cranky. I just don't think that there's anything wrong with today's music, I think it all depends on what you choose to listen to. Same with how it would've been with the older bands you consider better than today's. There was likely loads of God awful bands around that same era, but the difference is that the only ones that are remembered are the one's worth it. Same as how in a however many decades, the bands that are worth being remembered will be.
@Empathetical Yeah you got that right. But I'm talking about the tune. The beautiful tune of strong emotional metal with blues and harmonic scales and voices so strong they could break chains. Big hair, bikes, girls, sex and good rock 'n' roll. Leather jackets and cowboy boots. All that kind of stuff. But these musicians either turned pop rock or died in the big era of Grunge in the early 19's.
@ssa12344 I know what you mean I am a young teenager but I am drawn to the sound of rock'n'roll and i love listening to old school music more than mainstream and the darkness are an exception :)
@ssa12344 I know a few but not very many, most kids are into like hip hop and pop nowadays me I just listen to rock music and Im glad Im not alone too :D
@96Jazangel That's cool that you're into rock and an awesome band like The Darkness but it is possible to be into both. I would never limit myself musically...you'll miss too much.
