can someone give me some advice my freind won a snowboard and he said he would give it to me for free and that i could re paint it blue but the problem is the fact that its a girls board so does it make much difference if a boy rides a girl snowboard or would just make it harder to learn snowboarding
@snowballer234 ... dude, i rent boards, and one day all they had left was a girls board ... SUCKED! ... TOE DRAG and Squirrelly! ... but im sure if you have smaller feet (since i wear a size 11.5 boot) it wouldnt be as bad ... if you're gona do park riding it would be an ok board probally ... be all in all A FREE BOARD IS A FREE BOARD! TAKE IT!
@snowballer234 well, for 1, its free, so take it and sell it too get a male board, from what i've been told ,and this doesn't suprise me at all, not to be sexist or anything, but guys have ALOT more aggression when it comes to stuff like this than girls, watch a girl rider and watch a male rider, you'll see how different it looks, I suggest take the board, sell it, buy yourself a male board xD
IF ANY ONE WOULD LIKE FREE STUFFxbox's,snowboards, ipods, laptops and other cool prizes pm me and give me your email and i will send you an invite for LOCKERZ. lockerz is a legit site that you can get free stuff from. i got a 64 g itouch in 2 months this site BUT is invite only (you can't sign up from the site you must be invited)so pm me now and i will get you an invite right away
can anyone tell me if my boots sticking off the board approximately an inch offboth sides of the board will matter? they say it will in theory. but does anyone have a situation like that and not notice it? im a size 10.5 and the board im using is not wide.
Can i ask a question? So you want the board to be bigger than your foot? Or do you want them both to be about the same. Can you give me some precise measurements? Like your foot should be within 1 cm of the edges the board. Also, sorry one last thing. Can you explain the angles when im puttin gon binding? Someone said that a 15-0 would be good for beginners. So thats 15 on the hind leg and 0 on the first? How do i know at what angles to attach? Thanks
just something its not the shoe size because alot of people wear bigger shoes than what thier foot size is so u should have a scale to measure the foot not the shoe :)
Hey, I'm interested in buying snowboard gear. I was wondering if I am 5'11, im size 12 boot, and my weight is 160 lbs. What are the specs of the snowboard i need to get? Like how long? how wide? etc. Please respond and let me know. Thank you
for the most part...granted you already know how to ride. a snowboard should more or less come up to your adam's apple...about halfway up your neck. for you that may be something like a 156-158. best to go and stand with one infront of yourself. also take note of what the board is good at...there are park boards and mountain boards so take consideration of what you want it to do.
check out some rome snowboards...nothing better out there imo. msg me if you need more help!
Nice vid...quite informative...I'm the big dude with big feet (13) and I've been wrongly outfitted many a time. Toe drag is a bitch. I can deal with minor toe drag but I've had to return a lot of boards because of major toe drag aka "My edge is my boots".....heel drag sucks as well....
what should i do if my board has toe drag?

you need to change the stance of your bindings... your toes should be pointing outwards in a duck stance, not straight 90 degree angle....

get a midwide
