Ireland must be the only country in the world where the national broadcasting service features a weather map that includes a neighbouring country (and always the same one) when being informed about 'our weather at home'. This happens only on Network 2. On RTE 1, the weather map showing 'our weather' features just a map of Ireland. Interestingly, the 'Europe' forecast never mentions the UK. But then of course, sure the UK isn't IN 'Europe' and anyway 'our weather' includes the UK, apparently.
