And by-the-way: OVA stands for Original Video Animation. They're strickly straight-to-video releases, for Japan that is.

Yeah. They don't have any effect on the storyline of the show but they have a lot to do with Negi's relationships. The Summer one has Negi and Asuna (my favorite couple) and the Spring one is all about Nodoka and Negi (blech)

I for one admit that I am a Negi/Nodoka fan. However, I am mostly open minded, so I think of Negi and Asuna as a platonic couple. It might mean that I don't see them romantically, which I really don't, but Negi and Asuna, I do admit, are a cute couple together, yet I can help but quote Nitta-sensei "They look more like brother and sister to me."

I don't hate this pairing though.
