Saying all that i said before i congratulate the father who shows beautifully how much he loves his daughter. But once again he is not to blame for his daughters problem.

Having a single child is the problem, the dad is blaming himself straight away why ? the mother is taking her breakfast into her bedroom why ? she is not a baby let her get off her ass and make her own breakfast. If you molicodle her any more you make the problem worse. I hate the way she blamed her father for being anorexic i find that disturbing especialy as her dad is ready to backflip over the moon to make madam happy. These issues are psychological environment may play a role but not here.

what a wonderful Dad. My dad is over 260 pounds and wouldnt even attempt to loose weight, for any reason. Anorexia dosent only effect the person who is suffing from it, it effects the whole family. the whole family ends up suffering from anorexia.

Im at the school emma is at, im proud of the fact that she has had the guts to do this... bringing to light eating disorders, that young girls can have and making people aware of it... is very courageous..It could not have been easy for her...

I saw me in this documentary! :D:D The clip showing the market town, last summer there were camra people going around filming the town centre and I asked what they were doing, they replied a documentary for BBC 3, then I saw myself walk by in the town centre scene... I know it's like... four seconds of me.. but YAY! XD

But yeah, i'll look out for Emma and thank her 'cause this documentary motervated me to try and put on a bit more weight again..

I've known Emma for a year or so, and she's a lovely girl. I wish I'd known about this side of her earlier though as I had OCD real bad and have managed to work my way out of it with psychologist, and cos of this i wish I cudda been able to talk to her bout it!

It's asstounding how ignorant people are! I applaud this family for being so corageous. Eating disorders are nothing to joke about and the comment regarding forcing food into Emma is sadistic and cruel. I'm a paediatric nurse and I've given my life to hepling children and their familes and if you've watched a child die from an eating disorder you would not be saying these comments. I pray that those who made these comments never have to care for a loved one who is sufferring in that way.
