  • more of this please! :) very nicely done

  • Seriously bibio needs to release this and "spring is here" the songs are brain meltingly good, but I still love the fact that he's moving into new places with music.

  • i'd kill for a new bibio album or ep to go back to this sonic territory

  • damn. I bet bibio would be an awesome person to hang out with. :D

  • What the hell, Bibio has been to my local beach!? He must have gotten through Borth and/or Aber to get there......

  • @echobears No, usually coming from Machynlleth/Ffwrnais way. Although I usually go to Borth after a day in the dunes for Fish n Chips :)

    Viva la Ceredigion!

  • Thanks to everyone for the kind words.

  • @mrbibio I can tell you'd be an awesome person to hang out with.

  • what album is this on?

  • @poeticphantom It's unreleased.

  • your music (and your films!) are a great inspiration

  • beautiful, just beautiful

  • Nice work, super 8 kinda looks like my memories!

  • very good.

  • love to see more of your films, and looking forward to the new album and EP.

  • Best thing since BoC.. and i mean that in the best possible way. Would love a new album from you Bibio!

  • what did you use to capture the bird sounds, i have been looking for portable recorers of all descriptions and ll the ones i have found either hums or has a hiss on it.

  • thefuckestuppest - For the skylark recordings I used a sharp poertable mini disc recorder and home made binaural microphones, they're 2 omni-directional electret condenser mic inserts wired to a stereo mini jack, and powered from the plug in power on the MD recorder. They're cheap to build, hands free and sound good for £5 mics. Y0u can get them from maplin, get the miniature (not subminiature) with 2 solder pads on each. Good luck. But for birds, ideally a sennheiser shotgun mic and a nagra!

  • ok thats great, thanks.

  • amazing work. image and sound. a great breeze to accidently bump into.

  • to answer h3dg3's comment on what's better super 8 or analogue video... well video is handy because you can re-record, view what you've done instantly etc. but then comparing film to video is like comparing a birdsong to a squeaky floorboard... hmm, maybe not, that analogy was off the cuff, but super 8 is more poetic.

  • oh then some of the myspace photos were basically stills from this. sweet. i'm thinking of getting a camera myself...maybe ill get s8mm or maybe just an analog camcoder. i need to ask someone what's better...

  • intoxicating, thank you.

  • Holy crow. This filmographic/musical conjunction is nearing very close to some type of Bibio apex. I can only imagine what else you have in store for us...
